Stitches in Time: Costume Store Tour

Please meet at the reception desk of Discovery Museum a few minutes before the start of the tour. The tour is on the 4th floor of the museum.

No bags are allowed into our museum stores, however storage lockers are available.

Join Helen, the Assistant Curator of History, on a tour of Discovery Museum’s extensive costume stores, and get up close to garments, fabric and accessories from the past 300 years. Step ‘behind the scenes’ of the museum and get up close to exquisite objects from silk shoes to Victorian gowns and contemporary designer classics.

The tour lasts an hour and is largely the same selection of clothing and accessories as in previous years.
