For children five years and under.

With seating for adults and allocated buggy parking. 

Children must be supervised at all times.

About

Tiny Tyneside is Discovery Museum's new, free play space for our smallest visitors. 

Explore and play around the themes of the museum with replica transport, inventions and bridges.

Children can: 

  • Climb mini-Turbinia and mini-Mauretania ships
  • Ride on NISSAN and Armstrong replica cars
  • Stand and play at an interactive table with trains 
  • Twist and turn gears at the fidget wall
  • Build a foam Tyne Bridge
  • Cast transport and animal shapes on the shadow wall
